"Enjoying Your Art"
“The heavens proclaim the glory of God. The skies display his craftsmanship. Day after day they continue to speak; night after night they make him known. They speak without a sound or word; their voice is never heard. Yet their message has gone throughout the earth, and their words to all the world.” Psalm 19:1-4
“O Sovereign Lord! You made the heavens and earth by your strong hand and powerful arm. Nothing is too hard for you!” Jeremiah 32:17
My child,
Everything in creation speaks of my glory. But just think about the skies for a moment. The radiant canopy of heaven that drapes the earth in the sequined wonder of night. The blazing splendor of the sun as it bursts onto the stage of a new day. The exuberant lightening as it dazzles and darts across the sky. The vigorous wind as it confidently escorts graceful clouds along to their next destination. I created all this to delight my children, but also to nourish in you a deep awe of me, the one who lovingly adorned the magnificent canvas of heaven.
Just by looking at these displays of my craftsmanship, what can you learn about me? What are they saying about me? What is their message?
They remind you that I am infinite, without beginning or end - limitless. They proclaim that I am powerful beyond measure. There is nothing that is too hard for me.
My creation speaks of the joy it brings me to fashion life, light and beauty. I am a joy-filled God and want you to share in that joy as you revel in my creation. Each new sunrise brings the promise of new possibility. My mercies are new every morning.
I, the one who knew how to knit the galaxies together, know all things. Nothing about your life is hidden from me. I am in all places, at all times. Everywhere. Always. I didn’t just set this world in motion and then take a vacation. I am trustworthy, faithful and constant.
It took endless wisdom to fashion the universe. Each intricate element was intentionally sculpted by my hands. I can handle the details of your life with the same care and intention it took to bring all this magnificence into being.
I want you to enjoy the artistry of my creation each day as it sings of my glory.

As I think about enjoying your creation with you, I remember how much pleasure it gives me to savor my friend Starla’s art while I am with her. She has the creator’s perspective on it no one else has. She encourages me to see the fuller beauty of the piece. Intricacy, color, structure, and meaning.
Starla engages me with her creations like no one else can. I, also, love to enjoy her art with her because I love her. Her art teaches me more about who she is. What a privilege to engage with the creator while enjoying what she has created.
That is how I have begun to experience life with you ... delighting in all the beauty of your artistry in the presence of the Artist. In that place, you satisfy my deepest longings.
